Abstract

Introduction: Stress is a psychological and physical burnout that produce objective or subjective problem for people. This investigation designed to study the relation between job stress and job satisfaction in Sepah personnel.Methods: The method of the study was descriptive and cross sectional. One hundred and forty six personnel were selected randomly from Sepah in Iran. The “JDI” (Job Descriptive Index) and “Osipow’s job stress questionnaire” were given to participants and asked them to complete them. The data collected was analyzed by descriptive statistics and correlation coefficient of two variables.Results: The results demonstrate there is a significant relation between job stress and job satisfaction, boss satisfaction, and salary satisfaction. And also there is a significant relation between job satisfaction and total stress.Conclusion: By evaluating the results of different factors, we conclude that there is a significant relationship between stress and job satisfaction, being satisfied with one’s superior at work and with income. These results are also in line with other studies.
