بررسی رابطه بین سبک رهبری و راهبردهای مدیریت تعارض در ‏مدیران

Abstract

Introduction: Hospital is one of the most important parts of a health- ‎providing network which requiring an experienced and efficacious ‎managing system thus A weak managing system would result in increase in ‎expenses, loss of economic sources, and decrease in optimal usage. ‎Therefore current study has performed to evaluate the association between ‎leadership styles of managers and conflict management method in Sepah ‎Health and Treatment system.Methods: Current survey is an observational analytic cross-sectional ‎prospective study. Our sample population consisted of 48 high and middle ‎level managers of some Hospitals who were selected during a census. We ‎used both leadership style and conflict management inventories to collect ‎are required date. Statistical analysis has performed by SPSS software using ‎Chi-Square and ANOVA methods.Results: About leadership method, our results indicated that 62.5% of ‎managers had tendency to favoritism while 20.8% were conscientious, ‎‎16.7% were socially independent, from the point of conflict management ‎method, 4.2% had tendency to anti-conflict approach, 50% had tendency to ‎solving-problems method, and 45.8% had tendency to applying control ‎method. There was a significant relationship between age and managing ‎methods same as between history of management and Managing methods in ‎the other hand there was a significant difference between managing method ‎and solving-problem approach.Conclusion: Our results indicate that majority of managers with every ‎leadership style along with increase in age and record of service and ‎experience, would attend to use of solving-problem method in conflict ‎management and also to favoritism method of management.‎
