The sample (N=40) was selected by available sampling.The data collecting tools included the short form of the quality of life questionnaire )WHO QOL BREF( and a barometer. This study had an experimental design and data were analyzed by multiple analysis of covariance.Results: Stress inoculation training decreases systolic blood pressure and increases the level of quality of life for women suffering from hypertension. Although it can be said that this training does not decrease diastolic blood pressure.Conclusion: Stress Inoculation Training (SIT) is effective on the improvement of quality of life and decreases blood pressure in the patients with Hypertension.
