As a result, the aim of present study is to investigate the role of obsessive beliefs (dysfunctional beliefs) in predicting washing obsessive compulsions.Method: 390 undergraduate university students from Tabriz university were selected by cluster sampling. Next, Maudsley obsessive-compulsive questionnaire and obsessive beliefs questionnaire (OBQ-44) were used to collect data.
